"The Last of Us: American Dreams" is a comic book prequel to the popular video game "The Last of Us". The story follows a girl named Ellie, who lives in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by an infection that turns people into zombies, and also tells a story that was not revealed in the game, providing a more detailed description of the characters. It also allows us to learn more about Ellie's childhood, motivations, and friendship.

"The Last of Us: American Dreams" is a joint project between Dark Horse Comics and creative director Neil Druckmann. The work on the comic began during the development of the game, allowing the stories of the two projects to be combined and influence each other. The first issue of the comic was published on April 3, 2013, and the video shows the first printing of that issue (00111).

Interesting fact is that with this edition, the barcode 00121 is actually the second printing, even though the last digit in the code "1" suggests otherwise.
